Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actress. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington located in Ohio left high school, and relocating to Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. Even though she had financial difficulties, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. In the following year, she was awarded an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was forced to quit the show in order to concentrate on her acting career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The following year, she appeared as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day version of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon's part in Lost for two more episodes, including the series final. She also appeared in the sixth series of Californication. The actress portrays Faith as a groupie and also a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family She is the daughter of film makers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs as well as the elder cousin of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a teenager as she was cast in minor role in films made that her father directed. In addition, she was a part of her brother in 2001's famous film Donnie Darko. The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win a Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and in the romantic comedy Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. In the wake of several successful commercial films like World Trade Center in 2006 her fame grew when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother who is a single parent was nominated in an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. She then appeared in dramas and comedies which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012 Some of her other roles are as an agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a vocalist in Frank 2014, and the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the title role. Gyllenhaal began her career as screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021, when she wrote and directed The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter. The film was awarded Best Screenplay at The Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
