Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress most well-known for her roles in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole daughter from Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous notable international and national projects. These comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French history mini-series Napoleon. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
